A Weekend Gateway to Chail, Himachal Pradesh for a Perfect Hill Town Retreat

29th September is celebrated as a FreeKaaMaal foundation day and this year(2018) the company has completed its successful eight years in the affiliate marketing domain. To celebrate this joyous occasion we have planned a weekend getaway to the small hill station in Himachal Pradesh, Chail, to witness the lush meadows, tranquility, landscapes and magnificent views of the exalted Himalayas. The annual gala of FreeKaaMaal was a dreamy affair for every member associated with this organisation.

Glimpses Before the Journey Start

To make the birthday morning more special and fabulous, we start the day by decorating our whole office with balloons, colorful frills, and sparkles. And, the picture says it all.

How a birthday can complete without the cake cutting ceremony? Well, we also believe in the same. So, to make the birthday celebration super special, we have cut the soft, moist, yummilicious, and flavorful cake. Needless to say, the sweet indulgence has definitely delighted our taste buds before heading out to the journey.

After the whole scenario of planning a trip about one week, the day and time finally have arrived!!. We all were so excited and wants to capture this precious moment and happiness in the camera to reminisced it later. Look at that ear to ear smile on everyone’s face.

The bus blazed with the flowing energy and excitement as we started our very first activity. Yes, of course, it is none other than Antakshari, which is always joyous to play as the whole FreeKaaMaal family was out there. Everyone has entered into a competitive spirit and ready to attack their opponents. It is quite obvious we had played for a long time and after so much of music and melody, we all were feeling so hungry. Hence, we stopped at Shiva Dhaba, Murthal to binge on some aloo paratha with Chai.

After traveling for the whole night, our morning starts with the beautiful visionary of hills- a perfect escape to mind-numbing restlessness of city life. As, the chilly winds start touching our skin, and this makes us stop to have a cup of tea.

Here Comes the Paradisiacal Hill Station

The thrill rose again in our veins as we entered the land of the rugged mountains girdled by the Pine trees. It is an idyllic retreat for all of us, as we are in the lap of nature and got mesmerized with the serenity of the place. Afterward, we all went to our camps to freshen up. After some time we all gathered in a ground to play cricket and volleyball.

How a trip can complete without some selfies and pictures? So, here they are! All were dressed in their best attires to shine in the majestic valley of hills. We all were so cherished with Chail’s greenery, peace, and pleasant weather.

After all this posing and photography, we all went to the dining area to have our lunch. Then, we all head to our camps room to take some rest. As there are more plans waiting for us in the evening.

The Trail of Entertaining Activities

We had started our evening with a group dance which we have prepared for the whole week. And, yes we all shake our legs on Bollywood numbers like Balam pichkari, Kala chasma, and so on.

Chail is situated at an altitude of 2,250 meters due to which, the climate at night becomes quite cold. The clouds were floating over and the serene breeze from lush valleys striking us. So, now what, we are not going to sit in our camps with blankets. That’s why we plan for a Bonfire night!! It was like heaven and quite tough to put that feeling in words. But, we all are having so much fun and enjoying each other’s company sitting against the bonfire. Albeit, musical chair, and dumb charades were the highlights of that night.

As the most beautiful moments always seemed to accelerate and beyond our grasps, so does with our trip. After having a scrumptious breakfast, we all have to say bid goodbye to these wooded hills.

But this is FreeKaaMaal family, how can the celebration going to be so short. Well, we all stop to a very beautiful Sadhupul- a small bridge constructed over the river Ashwani. Here, we chilled out for a couple of hours and then we all boarded to the bus.
