Thursday is a day filled with ambiguity of surprise. Everyone wonders, what new intiations have been taken from HR this time, as every Saturday is the D-day of games & fun in our office. Resulting in watchful eyes fixed on mailboxes for new surprises awaiting for everyone.
WELCOMING THE WEEK OF HARVEST FESTIVAL (MAKAR SANKRANTI)
There were whispers around the office about Rangoli Competition. Teams were made and every individual was getting ready for some team work. The theme of rangoli was decided on the spot and had to be constrained till the presentation. We all were stuck in bigger dilemmas, as on this harvest festival what innovation can we bring to our rangoli theme?
The D-day (Saturday) arrived vociferously and the entire office was distributed into three teams. Every team was excited and agile in their information and material gathering procedure for the competition. The best part was that even in the lunch time members were busy roaming into the market to collect the items needed for the competition. That how much dedicated and enthusiastic everyone was for this fun moment. As clock stuck to 4.30, the activity started with the time limit of 45 minutes.
At initial 20 minutes the teams were confused, but afterwards the ideas came rushing and we could see some major actions. During the entire activity, there were glimpse of hard work, creativity, humour, synchronization and the most important limitless happiness. Finally, the time was over and the judges were called to give the verdict. There were several parameters on which the winners will be decided.The team was asked to explain their theme and reason behind it.
1. Sagar’s Team : When the judges reached and saw a rangoli of Mickey Mouse with candles around it, there were shocked and confused … “what is this team?”, asked the CEO abruptly. Later they justified their rangoli creation everyone was left impressed.
2. Sonal’s Team : Their rangoli itself was giving a life lesson ‘Save A Girl Child’ and being a proud female Sonal beautifully explained about the theme. The key material that captured everyone’s heart was that the usage of Original flowers & glitters.
3. Arjun’s Team : Efforts were precisely seen as they made a flower and Ridhi Sidhi and Arjun explained the idea behind it
The creativity was touching the heights in every creation and judges were confused , they made again a round to see all the rangoli of every team. It took them around strong 20 mins to take a decision. Lastly after a brief critical discussion and analysis the rangoli winner was
The star of the entire show was Mr. Shekhar and his marvelous speech.

It was not all about winning or losing but it was creativity something new and to release the daily stress of hardcore working days.
AT THE END IT WAS A GREAT FUN DAY TOO ..
